Seat 1: Tong Tan, 36, Singapore - 3,305,000
The first of the final table's two Singaporean players is a keen recreational player and has been bitten by the poker bug for three years. Tan has six results on his poker resume for live tournament earnings of US$6,481.
However, Tan is coming into the final table third in chips and should the cards fall his way he could make his largest ever career score and win his first major title, all in one fell swoop.
Seat 2: Terence Wu, 35, Hong Kong - 1,845,000
A keen recreational player Wu can usually be found at the HK$25/$50 cash game tables and his best tournament result so far, according to Wu, is taking down his office poker tournament.
The 35-year-old fitness model is playing in the big leagues now and is coming in as one of the shorter stacks, but as a professional fitness model Wu certainly has the stamina to go the distance should he get the rub of the green.
Seat 3: Calvin Tan, 44, Singapore - 5,170,000
Singapore's Calvin Tan began Day 3 as one of the top five largest stacks but dropped down in the pecking order considerably when play was two tables out.
However, Tan woke up with a hand at just the right time, tripling up with pocket kings in a three-way pre-flop all-in to bring himself right back into contention.
That timely catch saw Tan enjoy a purple patch with his fortunes on the up as play was winding down and he is coming into the final table second in chip with a stack of 5,170,000.
While the 44-year-old oil and gas broker has yet to take down a major tournament title he boasts over US$83,500 in live tournament earnings and is certainly well positioned to tame the dragon here in Macau.
Seat 4: Kian Weng Choong, 31, Penang, Malaysia - 7,190,000
With over US$88,000 in total live earnings and five final table appearances on his poker resume - four of which have come in the last three months - it's safe to say that Kian Weng Choong is in form at present.
Choong returned for Day 3 as one of the larger stacks and seized a commanding lead he has yet to relinquish three tables out. While Choong claims his poker hero is the garrulous Tony G, the Malaysian has been pretty well behaved so far in the Main Event and has yet to tell anyone to 'get on their bike.'
The 31-year old banker from Penang, Malaysia, has been playing poker for a decade and already has a title under his belt, won back in June 2017.
Seat 5: Qiuming Qin, 39, China - 1,740,000
The 39-year old Chinese player works in finance so has a head for numbers, always a handy skill to have at the poker table. Qin was responsible for sending Day 2 frontrunner Thomas Ward to the rail as play became short handed, with the New Zealander's chips providing the fuel the Chinese player needed to make the final table.
As the second shortest stack Qin has his work cut out for him should he wish to slay the dragon, and with no notable results to speak of on his poker resume, at least according to Hendonmob.com, this final table appearance will be his best and brightest result to date.
Seat 6: Xilei Li, 28, Beijing, China - 1,570,000
Another player making his first deep run on the live poker circuit the 28-year-old white collar worker from Beijing is making his first tournament score a big one and is already guaranteed a payday of at least HK$313,000.
Li's usual stakes at the cash tables are HK$25/$50 and has he been playing poker for four years. As the final table's shortest stack Li will need some run good to take down the Red Dragon, but this being tournament poker, anything can happen. According to Li 'process and results are all that matter' at the tables so we'll see what sort of results he posts come final table time.
Seat 7: Mian Wei, 26, Zhengzhou, China - 3,200,000
With over US$230,000 in live tournament earnings and a High Roller title already under his belt Mian Wei is one of the Red Dragon Final Table's more experienced players.
Wei's results are not just limited to Asia either and he has had notable success in the UK in addition to two cashes at the 2017 WSOP in the five years he has been playing poker.
The Chinese player's game of choice is Pot Limit Omaha and he learnt to play poker online and says online heads-up specialist Doug 'WCGRider' Polk is his poker hero.
Wei began Day 3 in the middle of the pack but began to shine as the tournament became short-handed two tables out and is certainly in with a chance of going all the way.
Seat 8: Mike Huang, 26, Taiwan - 2,279,000
Currently sitting in 46th place on the Taiwan all-time money list, according to Hendonmob.com, Huang dominated much of the Day 3 action and even enjoyed a stint as top dog before Kian Weng Choong powered into the chip lead two tables out.
With over US$51,000 in live tournament earnings the Taiwanese poker professional has been playing for eight years. Huang has already enjoyed the rub of the green this week at the Macau Poker Cup, final tabling the Baby Dragon and finishing in 9th place for a HK$94,100 payday.
Huang will be hoping to improve on that result in the Red Dragon Main Event and take down his first title, in addition to the HK$3.47M first prize.
