PokerStars LIVE Macau has unveiled the official schedule for the 2017 Asia Championship of Poker (ACOP) -- where the world's best poker players come to compete in Asia's richest annual poker series.

This year's ACOP takes place from October 13-29 and will feature 24 ACOP Title Events where each victor will claim one of the prestigious ACOP Spadie trophies.

Taking centre stage once again will be the HK$100,000 (~USD $13,000) Main Event which comes with a whopping HK$25 million prize pool guarantee - the largest in Asia's history to date.

Vladimir Geshkenbein won the Main Event last year to become the only man to win a title on both the European Poker Tour and the Asia Pacific Poker Tour. The 29-year old Swiss player took home HK$5,643,000 along with the coveted Gold Spadie trophy.

Geshkenbein's victory also awarded him an entry into this year's Main Event; a long standing tradition for ACOP champions since the series began in 2012.

In total, there will be 50 cash tournaments spread throughout the 17-day series with a wide variety of buy-ins ranging from HK$1,000 to HK$800,000. Regardless of bankroll, there's something here for you and we've created tonnes of qualifying options for you to compete with the world's best at a fraction of the cost!

The previous ACOP poker festival attracted 4,479 entrants and awarded more than HK$95 million (~USD $12.3 million) in prize money. Call me bold and foolish but I'm telling you right now that this year's numbers will be closer to 7,000 entrants and HK$200 million.
