Percy Yung -- who's tied in points for the APOY lead -- has been eliminated in 11th place. With 6,000/12,000 blinds and a 1,000 ante, Yung was crippled with just about 23,000. Yung moved all-in from the cutoff and Mikal Blomlie called from the big blind.
Yung turned over [6d][6c] and was flipping against Blomlie's [10d][9d].
Yung asked for a six, but the deck was cruel. A [10s] came in the window and the dealer finished fanning out a [ac][8h][10s] flop.
The turn and river brought no help for Yung and she was eliminated in 11th place, earning nothing.
Blomlie finished on the other end of the spectrum, finishing with the Day 1A chip lead, 233,000.
Another survivor included reigning APPT Macau champion, Alex Chieng. Chieng -- who was also at Yung's table -- was all-in the hand before.
Chieng was also called by Blomlie, but Chieng held [as][jd] to Blomlie's [6h][4c]. That board ran [3h][3d][9c][kh][ac] and Chieng finished the day with 93,000.
Stay tuned for a full wrap of the day's events.
