APPT Macau is a five day event and we are still three of those away from naming a winner. But a couple of crucial questions about the tournament were resolved this evening, during the closing stages of Day 1B, when we learned how many players had anted up and what our champion will take home.

The short version is that 384 players have put themselves in with a chance to win this thing, and there's HKD $2,165,000 for the last player standing. Think that's just a funny currency that isn't really worth anything? Think again. There's $279,355 United States Dollars up top.

At the end of the day, the player with the biggest stack is Tomaz Yip, from Hong Kong, who cruised through the seven levels today with similar aplomb to Nahum Lum yesterday. Yip bagged up 133,500 chips tonight, which is a smaller stack than any of yesterday's top three, but is still well in the mix.

The same cannot be said for the likes of Bryan Huang and Jeff Rossiter, however, who were among the 105 who perished.

There are still a bunch of notables left in the mix, though. Vivian Im and Lacey Jones sat next to one another all day, and they stacked 29,000 and 17,700 respectively. Jordan Westmorland bagged 30,700. Other big stacks are in front of Bjorn Li (122,300) and Lue Yan (109,500). A full list is available via the panel at the top of the main APPT page, which also has full details of the payout schedule.

Tomorrow, the 99 players who survived today will combine with the 81 who made it through yesterday and they will rattle through another eight or so levels. Play starts again at 3pm local time, which is 3am ET and 8am BST. What do you mean you'll be asleep? Wake up!
