We're done for day 1B at the Macau Poker Cup, and the pattern set yesterday was followed almost exactly again today. That means a healthy starting field (today's 148 following yesterday's 110), an almighty culling through ten-and-a-half levels of play (we ended with 41 today and 28 yesterday) and a dominant chip-leader.
Today's top dog was Ling Kay "Tomaz" Yip of Hong Kong, whose 185,300 was not quite the mark set yesterday by Jordan Westmorland. But it was a pretty good effort under the circumstances. There were some excellent players out there today.
